Compatibility & updates

BYD or head-unit software updates may alter compatibility. Sharkware intends to actively maintain supported releases where reasonably practical. A compatibility update may require downloading and reinstalling a newer Sharkware release using Shark Transfer. Shark Transfer is one product and each purchase includes both separate platform files: Shark Transfer for Mac and Shark Transfer for Windows. Either platform version can install or update the licensed Shark Hub or Shark Control software, and both have passed the real Shark discovery, ADB connection, BYD AUTO verification and installation flow. Hub, Control, Transfer and Trigger remain separate products. Shark Control's launcher and on-screen controls do not require Shark Trigger, but the physical-switch, display-feedback and button-mapping features do. Control and Trigger remain Coming Soon until Shark Trigger has completed final vehicle validation.
